It looks great, but I ditched that mod jam-jar shade. It hangs on my 12' ceiling and lowers to 26" off the floor max-extended (of course you can't pull on the weight to get it back up unless you have a ladder or a stick, because the weight is 11' up when the light is all the way down). Cord is easy to shorten and leave inside the top canopy for lower ceilings. It is a typical 3-screw fitter... I wanted to know what the inside diameter of the fitter was, but why would they tell you? It's like 3 inches, so a couple of my Halophane 3 1/4" glass shades did not fit but one of them barely did. So I'm happy. It's not an old-school 3 1/4" size fitter, it's smaller, but it may work if your glass top lip is closer to 3" . The lip diameter of the jam-jar shade that comes with the light was 77mm or 3-inches.
